- Tjek at bilens udstødning er tæt, ved at lytte om den støjer mere end normalt.
- Tjek dækkenes mønster, skal være min. 1,6mm. dækkene må ikke være møre eller have skader.
- Tjek at bilens kontrollamper ikke lyser.
- Tjek at hornet virker.
- Tjek at der ikke er oliespild fra bilen.
- Tjek at trækkrog er medbragt til bilsyn, hvis bilen har aftageligt træk.
- Forrude skal være uden revner og stenslag, inde for rudens viskerfelt.
- Der er opnået en øget chance for et godkendt synsresultat ved bilsyn.
